Agreed man, they were awesome. They might well be the classiest fans in the league. Makes ya proud, doesn't it? They raised over $200,000 dollars at that game for the region. It just makes ya proud.

RE: Hats off to the Panther fans...

Thnx man, very nice of you. The old lady and I need to line up more permanent housing, and I don't want to head back to N.O. - I just can't live through another one like that. I think I'm out for good, except for family visits.

I might well head over to the Triangle area next week, that is if this new little hurricane doesn't ruin my plans again. The Triangle is up in the Piedmont Plateau (between Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill), so a hurricane shouldn't be anything more than a nasty rainstorm by the time it gets that far inland and up to that elevation.

It's supposed to be a beautiful spot, a hot high-tech economy, with a few websites listing it as the best place to live in the US. And the rents I'm seeing (for fully furnished apartments) are ridulously low - I think I'll have to check it out. And the fans sure seem to be ok.....

So maybe....

can anyone help me id this tune? it goes thwap thwap boom tch boom tch boom tch.

Qui a laissez sortir les chiens!

RE: Hats off to the Panther fans...

Hey I was at the game yesterday and boy was it good. I had nosebleed seats with my wife and brother. The carolina fans were very loud until we had that good opening drive then they shut up. Anybody see that hit Conwell well everybody was saying he was in the Carolina Panthers way how come he got hit like that. I got pictures and everything. I live in Charlotte Area and just moved from Asheville, NC area. We lived in Mandeville, LA & Hammond, LA for 10 to 15 years and my wife is from Houma, LA. Saints fans all our lives. One of our friends in New Orleans lost her house to the floods. At the game we saw a family from the 3rd ward New Orleans.

Since I can't watch the games here on this side of the water, what did they do?
