I guess he got tired of his wife telling him to get a job.

EDIT: I didn't mean to offend anyone in the me too movement. I am a non binary male.:D

After looking over the list of available corners, I’d sign Gareon Conley. Pair him back up with Lattimore.

From what I've read Conley would best suit DA's system of the remaining CB's out there. I've actually been hoping we would sign him over Sherman. It's still quite likely that we bring in someone after cuts but that's not very reassuring. We need to get a deal done with Lattimore because he's good and will hopefully continue to trend up but also the cost savings would let us afford a critical player or two.

Dre Kirkpatrick stopped in for a visit a few weeks back so ...

CB#2 competition (or lackthereof) will be very interesting as camp approaches. Not to mention we won't have Lattimore for a few games to start the season.

Here's to hoping our pass rush brings their A game.

We don't know this yet. I have yet to see any further pursuit of any prosecution from Ohio as of yet.

Lattimore could be cleared of the charges no doubt.

But don't forget the Clown commish. I hadn't read any updates out of the NFL personal conduct policy as of late, however they can still take action (suspension) even if he does not result in a criminal conviction.

Perhaps, but Goodell's early method of shooting from the hip on discipline has mellowed recently to wait and see. It could be a year from now before anything at all happens in the courts with Lattimore. This could be more of a 2022 issue if it results in an issue at all.

Of course, it may just be the eternal optimist in me. It's got me to this point in my life so I'll just keep rockin' it.

:D

It seemed like he was winging it when disciplining teams last year regarding the "Covid Protocols".
