Fan Or Fanatic?
The title speaks for itself. Are you a fan or fanatic?
|
Re: Fan Or Fanatic?
I'm a recovering fanatic.
I used to eat, drink, and breathe everything Saints and NFL related but life after marriage and mortgage got crazy and my focus has been on many other things. |
Re: Fan Or Fanatic?
You don't survive the A. Manning, K. Stabler and Richard Todd era's as a fanatic, that would be Lunacy....One would have to be a true fan, or just crazy....I fall into the crazy, FAN side but not fanatic, as I have learned over the years...success can be fleeting.

Re: Fan Or Fanatic?
Does getting a fleur de lis tattoo make me a fanatic?

Re: Fan Or Fanatic?
Fanatical in youth. Wiser fan as I age.

Re: Fan Or Fanatic?
At this point, fan. I perhaps was fanatic at one time, but am getting too old for the stress.

Re: Fan Or Fanatic?
Used to be a fanatic. More of a fan now. Life, family and the invasion of politics into sports have pushed down the importance of Saints football and other sports for me.

Re: Fan Or Fanatic?
Probably a fan. I'm usually not unbearable after a loss, even a bad one. But I have a sentimental streak about sports and tend to get emotionally invested at times. I mean, tonight I am getting almost choked up wondering if I just watched Federer's last Wimbledon, with all of the memories of the last 20 years just rushing back into my head. 😢 Paralells with Brees' last game?
