WFT & Jacksonville. Chicago would have been a bridge for JW while they groom their shiny new toy (1st rounder J Fields).

Do really you think Winston wanted to be a bridge QB somewhere else when potentially he could start long term with OUR talented team?

What do you think?

Obviously he wanted to be here, get coached up and learn the small details from a legend. JW is a smart guy & bet on himself. If he balls, he gets paid, if he flops the Saints move on. No biggie. It's big boy, production driven business.

Washington would have been a great look for him. They have a really good defense and a lot of young weapons on offense. Plus they have a weak division and like to throw a nice bag at their players. I never said his choice was altruistic. His decision was mature and calculated. A good sign from somebody whose only issues have been maturity and decision making.
