The team had to have known about this for the past month. The Hogan deal makes even more sense now.

Nope, Deonte Harris was arrested on July 16th for DUI...

So the deal for Chris Hogan was closed within 10 days of the arrest...

This could turn out to be a #Blessing in disguise...

The original report was wrong, then. It had stated June.

I wish I knew. It may have been a tweet or a tweet shared elsewhere. It was before all the rest of stories began hitting everywhere. It distinctly mentioned the violation occurring in June and was not associated with an article of any sort. Just something along the lines of "Saints WR Deonte Harris facing June DUI charges". They obviously had it wrong.

It's not the NFL lacking role models, it's the role models that get propped up by society that have no business being role models. It went from fathers to church leaders to community elders to old school dealers and rappers that "made it" to people like lil nas promoting degeneracy and poisoning the culture that needs more leaders and examples...

The black community needs a Malcolm X or MLK back to bring discipline and community.

Sad thing is those role models are needed in all communities. What’s more is, I think those people are there. They just are not supported like they need to be.
