What's the talk up your way on Mac Jones? Could he actually compete to become the starter in 2021 or is it too early to tell?

That's promising ...

However it will be interesting to see how Mac handles things when protection breaks down. Can he make plays outside the pocket was my biggest issue with him coming out of college.

Mobility (Fig Newton) vs Accuracy (Jones).

Still to early to tell. Most fans think they have their future QB, but a lot think Scam has enough left to keep them competitive and allow the rookie a year to develop. My guess is Jones will get starts this season weather it be through poor performance by Newton or injury.

Growing pains is rite of passage for all NFL teams...

Peyton Manning Colt's went 3-13 his rookie season (though the games were competitive, exciting); the Colts went 13-3 the following season...
