My twin brother has given me one of his contacts on the field because I lost them. It wasn't 20/20 but it was better than not being able to see well. Boston just talked me into Lasik. ![]() |

If you are a good candidate it’s a no brainer to me. I was about - 4.5 persciption in both eyes. I couldn’t see my fingernails if I held them out at arms length without my glasses. It Turned me better than 20/20 for about 10 years and I still pass the drivers test without glasses now.

The drawback for me would be the need for reading glasses. I have to use a distance and a close up contact so I don't need reading glasses. My doctor said I would be a prime candidate for the surgery, but I would definitely need the glasses for close-up vision. Not worth it to me.
