Re: Coach Pease Passes - RIP

Wow, amazing coach with a proven track record of players...

Wayne Martin, Derland Moore ('86 only), Joe Johnson, Frank Warren, Jim Wilks, Jumpy Geathers, Bruce, Clark, Pig Goff, Les Miller, Renaldo Turnbull, Darren Howard, Will Smith, Charles Grant, Willie Whitehead, Brian Young...

But even he couldn't do anything with Jonathan Sullivan...

Just saying Coach Pease wasn't perfect; but he was a tremendous man who could take average athletes and make them maximize their talent to be great men...

I've read that teams were considered lucky to score 13 points a game on them.

Troy Aikman has a weekly radio show here in DFW, and when they ask him about the "glory days", players/teams he hated to face ... Dome Patrol was always at the top of his list. Said his timing was usually off because the quickness of Swilling, the dominance of Rickey, the smarts of Mills & the nastiness of Vaughn.

Dome Patrol - legendary group.
