Well, Lutz got hurt doing kicker duties in spring training, I’m guessing there is a risk to losing the punter doing the same thing...especially since it’s not his normal job. It’s obvious a player can get hurt doing it since it just happened...that’s what it could matter.

There are several teams who have the punter handle kickoff duties...

Any injury can happen anytime. That's why coaches and player do not worry about it like some fans. They wouldn't be where they were if they thought that way.

Yet funny enough they are working out kicker today...almost as if they don’t want their punter to take the risk. See, now this is a chop-busting worthy statement you made.

How so? Show me where I said they would want their punter kicking off.

Show me that exact "chop-busting worthy statement".

You are really reaching for unobtainable chops.

“ That's why coaches and player do not worry about it like some fans.”

That is busting worthy. It’s condescending and besides, how do you know what players and coaches worry about more than I do? Their regular kicker just got hurt. Why would they NOT be worried about a non-kicker getting hurt doing duties that are outside of his norm. JP was correct in that some punters handle kickoff duties, but I bet it has been a long time since an NFL team has willingly gone into a game, regular or preseason, with only a designated punter on the roster.

You think you know, but you don’t know...and you never will! Coach Jim Mora

Once again, Boston, where did I say anything about the punter kicking off during the preseason? Where did I ever say going into any game without a place kicker?

You are losing it, brother. Back up and reread your diatribe.

Once again, chill.
