Another case of the coaching staff know more than we as fans about the capabilities of their players. Go figure.

Okay, spell it out for you. Geez. Baun has caught a lot of criticism from some fans because he wasn't making an impact after his first season. I'm saying that the coaches have had a better idea on how he could best be used more so than fans. Get it? I didn't think it was that difficult.

Yeah, that helped. Your post was a bit random and not really related to the article. I think most fans realized his success/lack thereof was impacted by a COVID offseason with no training camp. I could easily point out say...Baptiste as a counter example. But knock yourself out.

Go back and look at some of the comments from fans right here on this site over the past year. That's to whom I was addressing. There have been calls to trade him. Just get rid of him. Some calling him a total bust.

I should have probably pointed that out to keep the comment in context, but I fail to remember that everyone else on here doesn't read every comment in this forum.

I’ll take your word for it. Anybody that was seriously talking of trading him was jumping in the gun IMO.

No kidding. That's to whom I was addressing with that comment. And there was more than one or two that had that take early this offseason.

He worked out with the Watt brothers during the offseason, his fellow Badger teammates. Maybe he learned a thing or two?
