I mentioned my "players to watch tonight" in another thread but thought I'd repeat it here on the Game day chat :

QB .. consistency
RB (specifically Jones) If Freeman has another rough day, good night he's gone.
WR - guys not named Callaway. Maybe Kevin White "flashes".
CB - Mr. Mansfield (Adebo), Crawley and the udfa guy
K/Punter - Gillikin can boom em (see Ravens game) but is he consistent.

Zach Baun ... I'd love to see another sound performance tonight.

Does anyone know if Payton Turner or Werner will suit up and play ?

I wish I could. I'd love to use those new tickets we just scored, but it was on too short a notice to get away. We sold one, but still have one on row 1, seat 12, section 229. Excellent seat available on SeatGeek for cheap. We are going to be there on Saturday, however.

Last week we saw Hill play with the 1's (at least the one's that played at all), while Winston had the 2's to work with. They looked comparable. I looking to see what they look like this week with the opposite assignment.

I believe that book will be the third string QB if Hill wins the QB competition. If Winston wins the competition then he jumps into the back up role. Siemien will get his shot tonight to see if he has the necessary intangibles that Payton requires from his signal caller. No matter what, I believe that Book makes the final 53....just in case another team wants him now that he's spent time in the Saints system.
