Re: Saints and Ida News
Hey guys, just stopping by with my yearly comment. If you remember me and you're still here commenting, thanks for keeping this site going. I don't check in nearly as often as I'd like, but I'm glad B&G is still going.
At first I thought Atlanta was a good idea since we've owned the place for so long and a dome is appealing, but we'd probably get the away team treatment by the Falcon fans so that's out. So where could we play in a dome and likely get treated better than the Packers? Detroit or Minnesota. Detroit hosts SF, but Minnesota is at Cincinnati. Surely there's no love for the Packers there and they'd still have to travel as if its an away game...just with a shorter flight. I also read that the location has to be an NFL stadium due to replay rules and requirements so it ticks that box. The only downer is my perception that we've had some pretty bad games there over the years and I'm left with a few mental scars (thanks, Marcus). Cheers and best of luck to all of you living in the gulf south. I hope all of you and your families escaped Ida with minimal loss. |

Re: Saints and Ida News
I don't know what it's like now, but I lived in ATL in the 90' and early 2000's, it was practically a home game when NO came to town. The Whodat's came up in bus loads and were louder that the ATL fans most of the time.
