We seem pretty deep at LB (knock on wood) hopefully we can sub him out enough to keep him healthy.

I've argued instead of having big-cap-hit defensive linemen, maybe one, NFL teams should use the NHL approach and rotate entire fronts to keep them fresh... Perhaps with the LBers they can be rotated to always have an elite, rested speed providing blanket coverage all four quarters and the players aren't strained... |

It wasn't the Saints medical staff. Alexander was not a Saint player during his recovery. It was Dr. Sharif Tabbah, the same person that works with Kamara in the offseason. There's no reason to waste a roster spot by not using every player to their fullest, especially against a team like Green Bay. If he wasn't fully ready they should have placed him on the three week IR. The fact that they didn't means he should be a full go.
