And what’s most encouraging is that Davenport’s level-up extended to the Saints’ two preseason games. Pro Football Focus graded him as the top defensive end to hit the field this summer, and he did it in just two games. Davenport’s 93.6 rating was the highest of all his peers across the NFL in exhibition.

Wilcox/Diehl (Opening Drive) were speaking on Davenport earlier this morning. GB plan to start TWO rookies on the O line on Sunday.

He's always had the talent but Davenport isn't available much too often. Kind of like Armstead utnil recently.

I mean Adrian Arrington was a top rated WR in preseason multiple times lol

Every year is a new year. And like you mentioned, Armstead is a good example. Just because you dealt with injuries at one point doesn't mean that will always be the case.

I don't remember him as ever even being a top rated WR on the Saints preseason, not to mention top rated in the entire NFL like Davenport.
