New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers Wednesday injury report
A mostly clean injury report to open the season for the New Orleans Saints -
A relatively clean injury report for the New Orleans Saints kicks off Week 1 of the 2021 season. Cornerback Ken Crawley was the only Saint listed, meaning everyone else participated fully. https://www.canalstreetchronicles.co...-report-week-1 |
Re: New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers Wednesday injury report
We still don't have the depth in the WR room. If Tre Smith is the 2nd receiver we're in deep trouble. Callaway is an undrafted free agent who looks the part but is still unproven and that makes me nervous just thinking about it.

Smith, Ty, Harris, Hogan will all need to step up & make plays. |

The other guys are unproven at this point and were not even drafted. That's not who I want to hitch my wagon to when we need a first down or TD. They may be great but at this point defenses ain't skeered. Maybe they can make some noise like Callaway did in preseason. I certainly hope so. |

Lol Southlake (Jordan). Juwan is learning a new position, Harris is entirely TOO SMALL for a full time role, Taysom isn’t a WR nor is he a polished route runner.
Didn’t see much from Hogan or Trautman (pre injury)this pre season & no telling what we’ll get from 3quan. If/when someone other than Callaway’s name gets called, I hope they can make a crucial play and keep the chains moving. “Having plenty of weapons” is a stretch. |
Re: New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers Wednesday injury report
Speaking of Sprainquan, he was NOT at practice today. If I had to take a guess, I’d rule him out on Sunday.
He’s become a china doll. |

Tre has a HISTORY of injuries while in NO not to mention he's missed most of training camp and no chemistry with our new QB. Missed practices, no reps with the first team translates to not having an impact on Sundays AG. Why is this so hard for you to understand? Everything that walks around on Metarie drive isn't peaches and cream. |

I simply choose to expect the best. We'll see what impact he has or if his impact is even needed to get wins. We won the division last year going 12-4 with our HOF QB suffering brutal injuries and our defending offensive player of the year scoring zero TD's and only starting five games. Pardon me if I refuse to be negative. :D Who Dat, Baby! :bng: |

Someone could be elevated from the practice squad sooner than later. Kevin White perhaps? ... TS has missed 14 practices and two pre season games in 2021. Maybe he ends up on IR for three weeks. |

Re: New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers Wednesday injury report
The second injury report of Week 1 is out for the Saints, and two new players have been added to it. New Orleans will travel on Saturday ahead of their Sunday afternoon meeting with the Packers in America's Game of the Week on FOX. Here's how Thursday's list shapes up.
DID NOT PRACTICE: Ken Crawley (hamstring), Tre'Quan Smith (hamstring) LIMITED: Marshon Lattimore (knee) Rest 'em and get ready for game day! Or next man up and win. Who Dat!! :bng: |
Re: New Orleans Saints vs. Green Bay Packers Wednesday injury report
Looks like Paulson Adebo will get the start opposite Lattimore. Tall order for the rookie. Get his feet wet and then Roby can take over in week 2.
