We still don't have the depth in the WR room. If Tre Smith is the 2nd receiver we're in deep trouble. Callaway is an undrafted free agent who looks the part but is still unproven and that makes me nervous just thinking about it.

Can’t say that I disagree on depth at WR.

Smith, Ty, Harris, Hogan will all need to step up & make plays.

Don't forget Lil'Jordan! We should also see Trautman, Taysom, Juwan and Kamara all involved in the pass game. We have plenty of weapons at hand.

None of those guys would make a defensive coordinator change his game plan. Kamara is the only player that you mentioned who is a proven commodity and he's not a WR. He's a back with very good receiving skills who is excellent in space.

The other guys are unproven at this point and were not even drafted. That's not who I want to hitch my wagon to when we need a first down or TD. They may be great but at this point defenses ain't skeered. Maybe they can make some noise like Callaway did in preseason. I certainly hope so.

Wes Welker, Drew Pearson, and Rod Smith were all undrafted and unproven WR's. You never know. And it's who we have our wagon hitched to. They're going to do great. I know it.

Lol Southlake (Jordan). Juwan is learning a new position, Harris is entirely TOO SMALL for a full time role, Taysom isn’t a WR nor is he a polished route runner.

Didn’t see much from Hogan or Trautman (pre injury)this pre season & no telling what we’ll get from 3quan. If/when someone other than Callaway’s name gets called, I hope they can make a crucial play and keep the chains moving.

“Having plenty of weapons” is a stretch.

Speaking of Sprainquan, he was NOT at practice today. If I had to take a guess, I’d rule him out on Sunday.

He’s become a china doll.

You make a good point Guido but they were playing on different teams and they were not all on the same team at the same time. I'm optimistic but at the same time I'm a realist. I respect your opinion and I'm not putting it down. I'm just not as confident as you are.

Who Dat? Let me check my roster.

Payton puts his players in a position to be successful. Any of them can, and while, be weapons in his offense. Relax and enjoy. The object is to be ahead in the score when the clock goes to 0:00 and I like our chances.
