Hot take: Our team is the biggest question mark in the league.
When I look a the ranges of results that I can realistically seeing us ending up in, it's pretty large. I can see us losing more than 10 games, I can see us winning the Super Bowl. The QB situation makes us a huge question mark. While I think we are more likely to win the Super Bowl than lose 10 games, I just see potentials.

If it does turn out to be a bad season, which I'm not really counting on and for the most part trust our QBs, I hope we draft in a good position to pick up a QB for the future to kind of close the door on the issue. It's been an issue we've been worried about for a while... "what will we do after Brees". We may have already solved it, but if we haven't then we have to fix it by next year. We have a ton of options we can aim for. The roster is too good to let waste away with no QB.

We have a ton of questions about our team but preseason showed that we are deeper than we thought at most positins....except for WR.

To me only questions are staying healthy and Winston.

I believe Winston can be a good QB if he plays smarter, however, starting the season without 2 starters at WR doesn't exactly make me feel like he's set up for success.
It only takes a mis-step by a WR with limited game time, and Winston starts notching turnovers again. |
