Asking for a friend...
And put them in a position to snag a great quarterback in the draft as he departs?

Nah, not buying it...

Some constructive criticism for the Packers ... I don't think last year's MVP Rodgers pass happy formula will work for this years Packers with Linsley and Bahktiari not on the field. Going to need to run the ball with Aaron Jones and Dillon more often. I'm sure the Packers will look better against teams with subpar pass rushes.

I think we’re in for a long year.

Rodgers said they were caught off guard by how much the Saints D was using two-high safeties. If that’s the case I don’t know why they didn’t go ground and pound more with Dillon. Of course, it reached a point where they kind of had to abandon the run but early on it could’ve helped.

Another thing that I noticed… on the drive that ended in Adebo’s INT the Packers were starting to move the ball well. They were using more 12 personnel making the Saints line up in base defense and spreading the LB’s out in man coverage. It was working well but they never went back to it after the pick.

"When you get into one of these groups, there's only a couple of ways you can get out. One, is death; the other, is mental institutions."

Yes. During AND before the game. The team did not look prepared.

Cry me a river on Rodgers. Let’s not act like he just didn’t win league MVP. He didn’t forget how to play football.

Packers simply got a old fashioned a** whooping from a focused Saints team.
