Marshon Lattimore will undergo surgery on injured thumb

Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore has a new contract, agreeing to a five-year extension Sunday. But he also has a thumb injury.

Lattimore will need surgery to repair the injury, a source tells PFT. He is considered week to week.

I doubt he misses a snap. He's better with a thumb cast than most CB's without one. He can still push off or block with it and he doesn't really need to grasp (holding).

We got Roby coming in so we’ll be straight for the next two/three games. Trufant didn’t do too bad either

Or a disappointed Saints fan would say after hearing that Thomas wouldn't return the Saints calls then needed surgery when he came to camp and wouldn't be ready for game one...or two...or three.... He was supposed to listen to doctors and he didn't! I'm tired of his antics, distractions and me first attitiude! :argue:

Just a random thought. Sounds like it’s A Panthers fan that would WANT a player to miss unnecessary games.

Certainly not me. I wish he would have had surgery earlier, too, but I'm not going to dwell on it. Water under the bridge. What's now or next is what truly matters. :D

He is Thomas. That's who Rugs was referring to. Go back and read previous posts and it will make sense.

You responded and quoted to me mentioning “he”, not Rugs. I never mentioned Thomas, therefore it was a legit question when you bring an unknown entity into it. Better not to assume and make an ass of yourself.
