Re: Saints @ Panthers Pregame Discussion
If that is the case then why do athletes sometime go after fans in the stands? It is a rarity, but it happens. Sounds like the fans’ actions/words/attitude had an impact in those situations?

I'm sure DA has been double preparing for Christian McCaffrey since the final whistle at the Green Bay game.
Not so sure he's as worried about Sam the Sham. |

Re: Saints @ Panthers Pregame Discussion
Ahh, so you are one of the many people who don’t known the definition of “literally” is. Add it to the long lists of things you are wrong about.
I point out an example of a player going after a fan in the stands as a rebuttal to the idea that players don’t listen to the fans and I’m Figuratively grasping at straws? Ok. Agree to disagree. I don’t think players live in a bubble outside of fans...especially in today’s climate of social media. I of course may be wrong and players 100 percent tune us out. I wonder why they have social media accounts if they tune us out 100 percent though. I’m guessing the Pac was listening to their own press and relying on their fans traveling well and believing the off-season hype they had a bit before getting punched in the mouth last Sunday. Why go to other team sites and follow what they have to say if it’s meaningless? Why treat that GB fan that had the courage to show up here after their loss with respect if what we say and do doesn’t matter to the outcome of a game? These are just questions to ask ourselves as fans. Although I may sound like it, I’m not trying to preach. I am just an average person. I realize Myself as an individual has likely no impact on the outcome of any one game. But my impact on other fans that may result in thousands of people might. And those thousands of fans and the way they react make a difference to the team IMO. Maybe not. |

That's why I take every opponent lightly since my expectations have no impact upon the game whatsoever and makes my viewing experience much more enjoyable. TheOak explained this quite eloquently earlier. I have no doubt we will easily handle the much inferior Panties on our path to 20-0 ... Baby! |

Come Sunday after the game, should the Saints win, we will both have joy. Should they lose, I will be tempered with the realism that this was a tough game. You can blow it off and say that’s alright, we will be 19-1. I’ll choose mine, you choose yours. Is that Ok with you ? |
