So here is a question for all...The last game I saw the Saints away from the dome in person was...(sigh), the Beast Mode playoff loss in Seattle. My question is this; I have the same 2x3 foot flag I brought with me and waved during the game (a few folks even took my pic that day). Should I bring that same flag with me to this Pats game:

a) Yes. It’s old school gear you have had pre-Super bowl and that is always appropriate. Wave that sucker and bear the consequences.

b). No. It’s obviously got bad ju ju from a previous loss and doesn’t travel well. Stick with a low key black jacket and Saints cap.

B

Didn't you jack up the gameday menu last week? If it were me I'd burn the :censored: flag.

I am superstitious as hell like most athletes. So, I wouldn't do it but that's just me being superstitious. If you feel good about the flag then wave it with pride. Have fun and represent!:bng:

I think Damien Harris got the beastmode run out of his system last week ...

You're going to need a bigger gris gris stick then. That thing's got some Marie Laveau spookiness going on. Can you at least lock that thing away so it can't harm people anymore?

Not that I believe in any of that crap...but seriously. Can you put it in a vault and have some Nuns drop by. Sprinkle some water...say a few words...

For the team man!

I'll be curious to see how that initial week #3 injury report looks like ...

Coaches included.

I’ll be in section 101 about 10 rows up which is the upper corner end zone on the left as you watch on TV. At the very least I’ll have a saints flag on plays at that end zone. Geaux Saints !!

Another tough one for our offense. Callaway will again be shut down; this time by JC Jackson. Great safeties will be looking to snag a deep ball or two from Winston. A stout front seven will make running the ball difficult. Need some really good game planning this week.

Of course the Saints need to have their heads on right, but I don’t think the pats are that tough. They are a lot of smoke and mirrors. Miami beat them, then got shut out next week. Jets were in game number two into the 4th
quarter then pulled jets type moves. Saints beat the spread at least IMO.

Woohoo! Just about back at full strength on defense. I wouldn’t mind Pete Werner having a turn starting at WLB just to see what he can do after Baun’s up and down performance last week.

Looks like it’s gonna be a wet one. Rain predicted.

I’m most concerned about what the rain might do to my tailgate Gumbo! 😝

In seriousness, It probably won’t be too bad. It’s not cold here and it’s certainly not a heavy rain and there is no wind. It is supposed to let up by game time. That’s the current status

Make it extra thick so the rain doesn't water it down. :dunce:

I never thought that I would eagerly anticipate his return to the Saints. My how the times have changed.

Glad to see Reiter promoted. Once he’s up to speed with the playbook, he’s a solid backup @ C/G ... especially if Ruiz has another poor performance @ center.

So The early weather prediction was wrong. Should be sunny at game time. May be a bit humid for here, but nothing like Metairie.

Gumbo and rice are done !

If this game looks anything like the Panthers game, then it's time to switch QBs and go to Taysom. If we lose, but it's close I'd give Winston one more week. Hopefully we win and we don't have to even worry about this.

I hope Jameis plays well. If he stinks it up it'll feel like the early days of Delhomme vs Brooks.

I’ll give Winston until the bye week to prove himself, if he’s
Not getting it done I would like to see Book back there. I don’t think you can evaluate a Qb based on 2 games.

We've had five years of Winston film to look at...

How about we let Jameis play some games with an actual NFL WR and his starting center before we jump to conclusions.

Yeah, because he didn't have that in Tampa...

He did have WR’s but he didn’t have OC’s worth a damn or a running game or a line. He only had one 30 int year under Arians, which Luck, Ben, and the great Peyton Manning and Tom Brady all had career high ints their first years in Arians system. Some of y'all talk about not falling for narratives and are playing right into it. Outside of that one year he had no more than 18 ints. So he’s not a career int machine.
