Weak and pathetic performance....

Coming off a bye week, supposedly with quality players back from injuries, against a weak second string QB and a subpar defensive opponent. Weak

to boot.... 19 play offensive drive, with a whopping 3 pts to finish it.:dunce:

I agree. Imagine what Russell Wilson could've accomplished. The Saints defense is really good but Wilson is an X factor player.

While I agree that was not a good performance, there are a couple of keys to remember about the context of that game.

1) Playing a home dog. Unless it's the jets, no team is easy on their home turf.
2) Seattle is a really tough place to play. Entire game was silent count, which takes a long time to coordinate, and this team hasn't had to deal with this much the last two seasons.
3) Seattle was playing for their season, so every last ounce of effort was going to be expended, and they were going to be as dirty as they could be - if you're not cheating you're not trying mentality.
4) We keep mixing up the WR assignments, and none of these receivers have a lot experience.
5) while the weather wasn't as bad as predicted, it still played a big part on passes over 10 yard from the LOS. Both teams suffered.
6) Winston is still learning his reads and is really slow to make decisions. Probably due to SP whapping him on the nose every time he thinks about throwing into coverage. At some point, he's got to be let loose. Maybe against the J E T S jetsjetsjets.

I don't like how Payton said they're gonna "grind on it." I don't know what they do in that locker room and I don't wanna know!!!

Bahahahahaha!!!!

I know all those personal foul flags where BS. I could even understand if they threw flags on both players but they where killing us.

I completely agree with Matt 💯. He’s a useless WR.

The lone Seahag TD and Williams reliving his Minihaha eff up was really an OPI that was not called, of course, by the officials. For the proper perspective, the Saints were also able to overcome the officials in this game.

Let’s not forget that out of 6 games the team has played only one at home. From the initial hit of the hurricane, they have been vagabonds.

If anyone had any question/doubt on the pigeons being a no-class organization watch them instigate against the Lattimore and others.

Watching real time doesn't do him justice this game

Timestamp starting around 1:11 ... OMG . Shades of Julius Peppers.

He had that guy on rollerskates, then proceeded to throw him away. That's winning a one on one.

Davenport is an absolute terror.

That was Duane Brown a former pro bowler and he got manhandled like a kid vs an adult and that wasn’t the only time he did that to him in that game. Just gotta pray he can stay healthy. Dude can be a game changer. With Oynemata back he should get more one on ones, bad news for Brady and other Qb’s
