Trequan was completely out of sync the entire game and it looked like they were featuring him last night.

-Kamara MVP.
-Demario rivals the Dome Patrol.
-Love me some Adebo. Impact rookie at a brutal position.
-The WR corps is garbage outside of Callaway and Harris. It is not on Winston.
-Understand why they signed Peat. But, they will regret the contract.
-Love a kicker who kicks a straight ball.
-Tough schedule ahead.

Quick Takes and Observations:

Marcus Davenport is finally maturing into a ProBowl-Caliber DE, he's just got to be more durable; but there's no denying the pressure of moving QBs off their spot...
Jameis Winston is getting better at disposing of the ball and not taking sacks; especially good to see him pull it down, run and take the first downs SEA gave him...
As I'd posted during game, P Blake Gillikin is not only a terrific talent, but a weapon and playing at an AllPro level which he may not realize in New Orleans market...
Speaking of All Pro, DeMario has games like that vs the Bucs, Titans, Bills, and Bucs (toughest stretch in NFL) - WhoDat Nation should torch the 'net if he's not named AllPro...
Our Offensive Guards are garbage, swingman Throckmartin was more effective than Ruiz, Peat - not sure why we released Clapp unless he's still not healthy, who's looked better than Peat...
Marcus Williams AND Marshon Lattimore looked real bad on the long DK Metcalf ReTD, but it was DK Metcalf, and they shut him out till the end of the game...
Sean Payton needs to reduce the wear and tear on AK and get him the ball in space more which clearly was more effective; you signed Ozigbo, use him inside...
Know Trautman fumbled, but this is really his first real season of playing; he made a crucial mistake, but it'll get corrected; be patient with him; it's not like he's got Brees to teach him...
Can't be patient with TreQuan Smith; didn't like when we drafted him, scouting reports questioned his maturity, mental toughness, and it's evident; move him or cut him...
If Sean Payton really wants to send a message to this WR corps, take Callaway's No. 1 jersey away and put Curtis Johnson on notice; drops and poor-effort blocking are unacceptable...
Also on WRs - disagree with y'all, talent is there (save TreQuan); they've been underwhelming, but Winston is missing his share of reads as Callaway, Trautman were open for ReTDs...
Cudos to the scouting department on K Brian Johnson and finally getting it right; they weren't long kicks, but they were must-have kicks that the rookie got done...
Good to see Roby get into the mix more, but Adebo still had some plays that highlighted one of his many strengths - his length; Adebo is what SJB was suppose to be and a 3rd round steal...
Question that lingered throughout the game - Why was Malcolm Roach *INACTIVE? Why? Getting Onyemata back will be huge, but we need Roach to rotate at DT3...
Perspective - Dennis Allen got a lot of praise by the talking heads, but this was Geno Smith; Why do the Saints continue letting lesser opponents hang around? G'nats loss cost us HomeField...

JP that was a lot. But I agreed with all of it EXCEPT, Trautman. He’s hurting the team. He’s made crucial mistakes every game. I’m not talking minor things, I’m talking game costing mistakes.
I think he needs to transition back to WR. I don’t know if it’s the extra weight he’s put on to play the TE position but somethings not right with him.
I’ve never wanted a player gone more than Trequan.

Can anyone name a LB playing better football than Demario Davis? Bobby W? Lavonte? Had to laugh at the replay when I saw Geno scrambling on 3rd down & out of nowhere Demaro appeared :o. Damn near took Geno's head off. Good thing the QB was able to duck.

I love JVilma but IMO Demario is better.

And Tight End at the NFL is a number of positions, or skills that have to be mastered; I'd made the same arguments with Dan Arnold of patience...

These guys are coming in and getting coaching and really learning the position for the first time - and it's at the NFL Level!

This is why when it comes to the draft, with the exception of a QB Josh Allen (a QB) who I was high on, I don't like spending multiple picks on small school prospects...

Get the expectations, but like Davenport, it's not really fair to add that pressure, plus the adjustments to the NFL game, life alone are much...

Does Trautman need to step up this season? Don't disagree at all with that part, but he's making progress which is more than we can say for TreQuan and Ruiz right now...
