I agree. Imagine what Russell Wilson could've accomplished. The Saints defense is really good but Wilson is an X factor player.

Re: Observations from the Saints' Win over the Seahawks
While I agree that was not a good performance, there are a couple of keys to remember about the context of that game.
1) Playing a home dog. Unless it's the jets, no team is easy on their home turf. 2) Seattle is a really tough place to play. Entire game was silent count, which takes a long time to coordinate, and this team hasn't had to deal with this much the last two seasons. 3) Seattle was playing for their season, so every last ounce of effort was going to be expended, and they were going to be as dirty as they could be - if you're not cheating you're not trying mentality. 4) We keep mixing up the WR assignments, and none of these receivers have a lot experience. 5) while the weather wasn't as bad as predicted, it still played a big part on passes over 10 yard from the LOS. Both teams suffered. 6) Winston is still learning his reads and is really slow to make decisions. Probably due to SP whapping him on the nose every time he thinks about throwing into coverage. At some point, he's got to be let loose. Maybe against the J E T S jetsjetsjets. |

I don't like how Payton said they're gonna "grind on it." I don't know what they do in that locker room and I don't wanna know!!!

I know all those personal foul flags where BS. I could even understand if they threw flags on both players but they where killing us.
