Maybe but I’m sure they had a good idea something wasn’t right with him or the rehab.

Yep. Otherwise they would have removed him from the PUP. That is why they tried to get a WR yesterday.

Saints were in the loop. They couldn't justify the price tags for the WR trade attempts yesterday. This is a BB type of move, and a smart one as well. We'll have bigger cap space next year for bigger moves.
