CJGJ brings intensity but terrible skills as a pass defender. Remember Kittles.

Falcons are PRO's too.

You gotta bring your A-game every week in the NFL.

Wow. Look what happens when you catch the ball!

Key here is hold them to 3..

Falcons are coached a lot better on offense with Arthur Smith. Pitts and Patterson are matchup nightmares. Got our hands full.

Was just thinking this. Their game plan seems solid.

I think we might need to put Taysom at QB simply because he can run. We need those splash plays. Our receivers can’t catch.

You may be right we have only a goose egg on the scoreboard something has to change.

Was surprised we at least didn't see Taysom-ball on that 3rd and 3.

I'm all for it. We need a spark offensively.

Dog fight game.

Should’ve seen this coming. Of course we’re flat after the emotional win last week.

What a disappointing first half

LivnaLieTimay 11-07-2021 01:18 PM

Re: Falcons @ Saints Game Day Thread

The offense was terrible that half but the defense should be embarrassed by that last drive

Re: Falcons @ Saints Game Day Thread

I think we need to cut all of the WRs we have… all are no better than PS players. Completely trash of a WR crew 6 dropped balls in 2 qtrs, all of which would have been first downs.

4 quarters XVI.

Four quarters. There is a ton of football left.

We wouldn't have been in that situation if they caught half of those drops.

Send our CB’s out in the second half as the receivers … can’t be anymore underwhelming

Spark? We are running well until they call a hold. Drives were stalled by drops and penalties. Hill ain’t gonna fix that.

I think you mean the WR/TE's have been terrible in the first half.

Trevor, AK & Ingram have all played well 1st half.

Uh oh! Dog Fight Game, your gonna get a text from Michael Vick on that one.

Past history says when Hill gets going or creates a "spark", we tend to get in a rhythm/groove offensively.

Payton will figure it out 2nd half :bng:

So who comes out for the second half LSU or maybe the Louisiana State Women's Volley Ball team.

Kamara can run even better, whats the point of considering passing ability at all if our receivers have no catching ability?

Please put together a nice TD drive here. Run the ball.

That's creative run up the middle.

turbo_dog 11-07-2021 01:41 PM

Not one pass to a WR was complete on that drive.

ChrisXVI 11-07-2021 01:41 PM

Re: Falcons @ Saints Game Day Thread

Callaway not even trying to catch that. This pass game is embarrassing.

Kamara can’t run from the QB position like Taysom can because Kamara has no threat to make any kind of competent throws. Taysom can an at least make it where they have to play more zone cuz they can’t turn their backs to a QB like Hill. Well, they can, but they could result in them getting gashed.

The Falcons CB’s are playing the ball better than our WR’s.

What I've noticed the last few weeks is that our WR's do not come back to the ball/QB when he has to scramble and roll out.

Winston, now Trevor aren't getting a whole lot of help from these pass catches.

Getting torched by something called a Zaccheaus. We just don’t have it today fellas.

Re: Falcons @ Saints Game Day Thread

Defense looks uninterested today. Where's the energy? They're stopping the run, but every pass is a first down.
