Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread

After winning over the reigning Super Bowl champs in week 8, the New Orleans Saints dropped a heartbreaker against their rivals, the Atlanta Falcons after erasing an 18 point deficit in the fourth quarter. Can the Saints bounce back against one of the hottest teams in the NFL, and pick up another quality road win?
One of the biggest takeaways from their loss against the Falcons was how much the Saints' receivers struggled catching the ball, with several drops from a variety of players offensively. Although the receivers caught passes down the stretch of the game, first half drives stalled because of the drops and the offense finally started clicking over the last nine minutes of the game. https://clutchpoints.com/wp-content/...k-NFL-Odds.jpg Rod Walker: Saints dropping the ball on season if they don't improve at receiver, tight end On the other sideline, the Tennessee Titans have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL, coming off five straight victories, including wins against the Bills, Chiefs, Colts and Rams. They beat the Rams, even without their all-pro running back Derrick Henry, who underwent foot surgery. His timeline to return is unknown. After starting 2-2, the Titans have turned it on and look like the best team in the AFC. In the Sean Payton era, the Saints and Titans have only met four times, with the most recent matchup taking place in 2019 in Ryan Tannehill's first season with the team. The Saints won that matchup, but are 2-2 under Payton against the Titans. This should be one of the better games of the weekend with two teams fighting for seeding in the playoff picture. The Saints need to keep winning to keep pace with the Buccaneers for the NFC South race, while the Titans want to keep winning to hold off the surging Colts and continue to be a top one or two seed in the AFC. Jeff Duncan: Sorry, but it's going to be one of those years with these yo-yo Saints Here's all the info you'll need to watch, stream or listen to the game. The 2007, 2011 and 2015 meetings all had someone different at head coach for the Titans. 8: Combined, both the Saints and Titans have eight wins this season where their quarterback threw for less than 250 yards, four apiece. Both teams rely heavily on their running games and defense. 16: This is the 16th all time meeting between the Oilers/Titans and the Saints. The first meeting happened in 1971, a 13-13 tie, which happens to be the only tie in this series history. |

Up at the crack of dawn today and you guys are already posting. Lol. Should he an interesting game today. Ingram should get quite a workload. That Titan defense is good.
I hope these receivers got the memo and catch the ball. |

Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
Lattimore must win one on one battles with AJ. He's a very good WR & difficult to bring down in the open.
No AK today so I see CSP getting Taysom more involved offensively. Because of his unique skill set, this should help our lackluster WR's create some sort of separation. At least I hope. Getting pressure on Tanneyhill is key though. Matt Ryan had as much as 4 seconds to go through his progressions last week. Defenders can't cover forever. Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
They’re gonna have to chip or double team Simmons. He’s beaten Ruiz twice already
|
Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
Simmons is a Bull not going to be easy..

Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
It's crazy how much I don't miss Peat until he's not out there Ruiz has to get better and play better. Callaway I like but he gets ZERO separation
|
Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
Glad we made that trade for Roby. Can never have too many competent CB’s.
|
Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
Davenport is getting doubled so far ...
Cam Jordan has to win his one on ones. |
Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread

Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
Two sacks given up by Ruiz and we aren’t out of the 1st quarter.
|
Re: Saints @ Titans Game Day Thread
Ruiz is a turnstile today...
He is going to get Trevor hurt if they don't give him help. |

I still say Peat is still worse to me but if he keeps it up then yea, I’d have to agree with you. I do agree about the interior being the weak link |
