Siemian, Taysom or Winston cannot be compared to Brees in any regard this early on, which includes what Brees could make with these Receivers vs what the current QB's can.

Brees made those receivers what they were. On and off the field. He could easily do the same with these. Callaway, Tre'Quan, Harris, Stills, and even Kevin White have real potential.

100% this!

True Dat. Most of them have potential just no talent.

So are we expecting the next QB we have to be at Drew Brees level? Can we be a winning team without a hall of fame QB?

How about instead of focusing on getting the best QB in the league to lead our team, we get the WRs and TEs away from being the worst group on any team.

If we get Top 10 QB play combined with Top 10 WRs, I think we have a shot. However, it seems many of you are arguing that we need top 3 QB play and we'll accept having bottom 3 WR play.

ALL OF US NEED TO UNDERSTAND... Drew Brees isn't coming back, and we are not likely to have a QB as good as him in our lifetime again. Prime Drew Brees was the best QB I have seen play, but we don't need that level of QB to win.

The Saints are 0-42 when running the ball less than 15 times in a game.

Black, Am simply making a statement of reality; all of us, to differing degrees are still in denial about how much Drew Brees brought to this team...

This system QB commentary talking heads use to downplay Brees is just flat out bullshinski, he had a Hall of Fame work ethic - not easily replaced...

Folks gotta realize Brees' work ethic had that kind of impact on this team; now that it's gone, that void, vacuum is exposing the rest of the offense...

Now, I'd argue physically, the QB room we have is more talented than Brees'; but the mental and commitment boxes are not checked when in comparison to Brees...

The new reality #WhoDatNation is not fully grasping is this -

The Saints Lost The All-Time Most Prolific, Productive Passer in NFL History.

Easily said, but you really have to let that sit and settle into the thought process...

Old, breaking-down Brees did more with these same WRs, TEs, OL than we're seeing now, and that's just reality, fact...

So unless the new QBs and other members of the offense, even Coaches, step up to make up for what we lost in Brees, we're going to continue to see mediocrity...

If the adjustments, improvements to step up are made, this roster has the talent to blow the doors out on any franchise in this league...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

I cannot wait to see this happen. Brees deserved a capacity Dome for his final season.
