If we win Sunday I'm happy. If we lose and pick higher then I'll be happy about that instead of the win. It's a win/win for me. Who Dat! ![]() Edit: I'd prefer the roasted falcon though. ![]() |

Looks like it’ll be pick 17. Good spot to be.

Ok, pick #18 it is then.
There will be a stud available when we pick. IIRC Cam Jordan was selected at #24 and Ramz 32 of the 1st rd. Nuff said. |

QB in the 1st round? You think the Ian Book era is over? I doubt this Pickett guy is anymore NFL ready than Book. Can the Saint have two project QB's on the roster at once? I'm not against drafting a QB every year as long as you don't have the absolute answer on the roster. Nine out of ten QB's that get signed out of college never become a factor in the NFL.

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
So, in that case would you be willing to "cut bait" with Book or keep both as project QB's? We'd still need a veteran capable of starting since we can still "win now" with our current nucleus.

We just signed Bortles to a futures contract but I doubt that he's got much of a future in New Orleans.

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
I've been feeling Nakobe Dean lately. If we aren't going to go WR in the first round, I'd be happy with one of the top QB prospects or Dean just as long as we address the problem.
