Do you know his injury status?

The ACL tear was in March 2021 and he managed to play a little down the stretch in Georgia’s title run (in a very limited way of course.) By all accounts he’s good to go now.

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting

Draft is one month from tomorrow! Jaguars on the clock.

As of my feeling right now, I hope the Saints trade back from 18 and get two later picks in the first/secon somehow end up with three total picks in the first 2 rounds (Two from trading 18 plus their own second rounder). With those three picks in the top 64 I would take WR, T, then highest rated of S, TE, or HB. Then move onto round 3 where they have multiple picks. Anything signed from FA would be gravy then. An OBJ or Landry coming in as a #3 WR sounds fine to me. So does signing say Melvin Gordon or Kyle Rudolph.

Probably why I’m not employed by any NFL teams
at the moment. 🤔

You think you know, but you don’t know...and you never will! Coach Jim Mora

Trading down would be a first for the Saints during Loomis' tenure. They've traded up fifteen times and never traded down. There could always be a first time I guess.

The more I look at it, as much as I want a guy like Chris Olave in the 1st, it’s going to be a lot easier to get a complementary Z-receiver on day two than it will be a plug and play starting LT.

I kinda have that feeling too, but Major has brought up good points about getting that stud WR as well. It’s a tough choice. We’ve had some “misses” with first round Oline picks in recent years. Only no 1 WR taken recently was Cooks and he wasn’t terrible.

Yeah often times I see people say “It’s a deep WR class so we can wait until day two” but why not take the stud WR if he’s there in the first? I’m ok with doing that.

The issue I’m running into doing mock drafts is that there are only four plug and play starting LT’s: Evan Neal, Ickey Ekwonu, Charles Cross and Trevor Penning. After that you have guys that you’re projecting and hoping on their development like Bernhard Raimann, Tyler Smith and Nick Petit-Frere.

This is what I've been saying...

No one wants to move Ramczyk (his first, rookie game he played LT AT Minnesota) and was outstanding; but I'd much rather get a dominant Offensive line in place...

We've got money and years committed to Michael Thomas at WRx/WR1, why spend a first round pick on another WRx/WR1 that you won't be able to afford in four/five years?!?

Major and Chris are right to bang the drum for better complementary receivers, but get those guys on Day 2 and 3...

Other side of the coin, we've got a lot of money committed to Kamara, get that offensive line full of MidWest farm boys who can open running lanes, shut down pass rushers...

The Draft Picks and Salary Cap have to be in congruent to one another...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...
