Welp… Terron Armstead’s a Dolphin now. First round LT it is.

Damn, in the first round XVI? I can't stomach another underperforming 1st rounder on the O-line. We already have two as it is.
I'm crossing my fingers we go WR @ #18. Mike Thomas hasn't organized football in a long time & no one knows how the rehab is going. |

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
I know it's been mentioned before about us not trading back in the Payton era, but wouldn't it be nice to trade back in the 1st and landing someone like Olave or Burks and acquiring more picks? We've hit in the 2nd and 3rd on OL like McCoy and Armstead. We don't have to draft an LT, just a T. Ram can hold down either side. I actually like the guy from Kentucky in the 2nd, Kinnard, who can play tackle or guard.

Of course I don’t really know what Dennis Allen will prioritize, but it’s hard to picture them straying from focusing on the trenches.

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
I think it’s still the plan. Letting Armstead walk makes me think a Qb is off the table. No sense in drafting one in a weak draft class and have him take a beating if his number gets called. Shore up the line, give them a year to gel and go after a Qb next year if need be. I think we kind find a receiver later on so I think tackle at 18 makes sense.

Ramz needs to stay where he is at RT. We better hope that Hurst can hold down LT all year or that Young has improved and that he isnt injury prone like the rest of our OL.

There's a few offensive linemen there who have the film, athletic SPARQ that wasn't there with Ruiz and Peat...
