Re: Saints vs. Bills Gameday Thread - Happy Thanksgiving
I just know in the offseason we need to draft at least 2 WRs and bulk up the O-line. I don't know if Trevor is the guy or not, I still haven't lost faith. I'm not going to say he's a problem until I at least see him on the field with some ok talent. We can't run the ball, our receivers take some of the weirdest approaches to the football I've ever seen. I remember that pass to Montgomery that was a long pass off his finger tips... I don't know why the hell he approached the ball that way. I think Winston, Trevor, Hill... no matter who played the same result would have happened today because we have nothing on offense. A 17 game season and an extra teams in the post season makes things very different as far as the win-loss required to make it to the post season. We could theoretically get in with 8 losses. I don't see us having 8 or less though cause our offense is so bad. Fans just want to throw everything on Trevor and I don't think you can truly blame him for what is transpiring. We could have prime Brady and our offense probably wouldn't be doing much. Those talking about Rivers, he may sign if he has an amazing life insurance policy.

If you care about winning another game this season, you hope that Taysom is the starter vs Dallas next Thursday. |

That said, neither Taysom nor Rivers under center addresses the issue of stone hands. Rivers disinterest would be less to do with our record and more to do with the drops. |

Re: Saints vs. Bills Gameday Thread - Happy Thanksgiving
Trevor started well his first game. I think he is easy to gameplan against. He certainly has missed quite a few open receivers, but we aren't catching easy passes let alone passes that can make a QB have a successful completion rating. IMO, Hill won't be able to sustain.
Defense is hit and miss as well! Kicking is bad. The on field leadership since Brees left is lacking. It is frustrating for us fans but it is a reality. Look at the W/L records in the NFL so many teams at 500 or close to it. |
