Strength and conditioning isn't a factor in most injuries. Most are a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Hamstrings, possibly. That hasn't been the Saints problem however. Knees and ankles cannot be protected no matter how well you are conditioned or strengthened. Plantar fasciitis is an injury that is more dependent upon the choice of shoe wear than how well you are conditioned.
