New England might go 1-2. Don't they have Pittsburgh next week?

Yup... NE and Pitt will be the game of the week. Great matchup and implications.
That GreenBay defense is absolutely terrible. I know they needed a successor for Favre when they drafted Rodgers, but they definately should have picked up a immediate impact defensive player. I thought they should have went after Frye in the later rounds. If you've noticed, the past couple of drafts for the Packs have been horrible. They are headed for disaster. |

Yea you would think with Favre, Green, Henderson, Driver, Franks, etc... the offense would at least be good... but they've also sucked. In their defense, they did lose two all pro offensive lineman during the offseason and Favre didn't take many snaps during the preseason (usually a series). If they are out of sync, I would definately have to put blame on the coaching staff for that.

I didn't think that O could continue to get it done. There's plenty of time left in the season, but Franks is slowing down, and Ahman Green isn't what he once was, IMO. Neither is Favre.

i think you are exactly right whodat. i think they have lost to many people over the years and i think favre has been slowing. you look at some of his playoff performances the last few years and he has thrown a lot of int's. the loss of walker doesn't help at all. doesn't help me in one of my fantasy leagues either.

Don't forget Green Bay lost both guards - Rivera and Wahle, guys who get signing bonuses of about $10 million each - to free agency. There'll be pressure coming down the middle all year long and Green will have trouble finding room to run.

the biggest reason for their demise is the guards leaving.... they can't run the ball thru the middle like they could last year... another big reason is javon walker going down so early this year.... i mean for christ's sake, he's the best offensive weapon they have right now and he watching for the rest of the year... i don't think they'll start off 0-5, they were actually pretty close to a win yesterday and favre is too crafty (although old) of a veteran to let his team go down so early in the year... as far as us going 5-0, c'mon, we've only won one game and now we are supposed to be 5-0... let's make it to 2-0 first before going out on that limb...
