No one can be ruled out as our #1 WR this year or next.

Re: Bob Rose/SI.com | Saints' Easop Winston: A Secret Weapon for the Stretch Run?
He is a good prospect, suppose to have great hands. My concern is with all the issues at WR this year, why is he just being asked to play now? Seems that both he and Kawann Baker should have been given some opportunity weeks ago.

Re: Bob Rose/SI.com | Saints' Easop Winston: A Secret Weapon for the Stretch Run?
I think the issue has been more at QB than at WR. That stretch with Siemian at the helm Jerry Rice would have looked pedestrian. That stretch also produced probably 75% of the WR drops for the entire year. There were zero dropped passes against the Jets. We had the luxury of keeping both Kawaan and Easop on the practice squad until we lost Harris to suspension and needed a kick returner that could be more explosive than Callaway.

An argument could be made the opportunity could have been given months ago. We seem to have a lot a guys who are, not to be mean, second tier. In some cases that's a compliment. We have to address the position - not sure that's even debatable at this point.

Re: Bob Rose/SI.com | Saints' Easop Winston: A Secret Weapon for the Stretch Run?
It was about the third time this season I said to myself "who is that?" and then had to go look up a player's history. As always, I hope he's successful.

He showed flashes early on... Was really never given a fair chance ... His time to shine is now.
