I don’t believe that turning a blind eye to what our political “leaders” are doing, passing, and voting for is a good idea. We the people would be steamrolled like the populations of China and North Korea are.

Not enough people in our society realize that this is indeed a Republic. We should vote these clowns out every chance we get.

There should be term limits to prevent lifetime politicians like Pelosi, Schumer, (Murkowski and Young in my case) from getting comfortable in their respective office therefore establishing relationships with unsavory characters for personal gain.

The NFL is screwing up with their pandering and it'll cost them soon. They'll see an uptick in revenue by pushing gambling but that will run its course and the next NFL Commissioner will have to try to clean up Goodell's mess.

I'd be curious as to which "other forums" you are referring.

I agree with you on the term limits but they’ll never vote on it let alone bring the issue up for a vote. Another thing is to stop all this gerrymandering. People aren’t getting their voices heard cause the districts are too red or too blue and the politicians are only listening to the people that voted for them, instead of everyone and that’s not right and unconstitutional if you ask me, cause they aren’t getting represented

We do need information, but we need it unfiltered. Information built around entertainment is what we get. The more books you read, the more you can see through, even the books themselves.

What a great idea. Get rid of police and prisons with no control over criminals. Let's see how well that works.

Defunding police also means putting more counselors out and fewer police to be called who will draw their guns on anyone and shoot people who are mentally challenged that don't cooperate.

Re: NFL doesn’t like police

So Friday night we took my daughter into the ER for a liver infection. It took about an hour and a half longer than normal for the nurses and doctors to help us because of some unruly strung out patients. One of them said some indistinguishable things to my daughter in the hallway while she walking to the bathroom to get a urine sample (that guy was lucky I wasn't there).

The cops and hospital security walk on eggshells and have to hold back on what they should be doing for 21st century reasons. At least one of those guys should have been tazed and thrown out in the snowbank. I'm sorry, but at particular times I believe we do not have enough police brutality.

She won't get out of the hospital until tomorrow at least. Not sure where I will be watching the game tonight.

Yes Rugs. That's what we all do everyday. We strap on our armor skipping out the door whistling Dixie and hoping we get to blow some people away.

You find a counselor that will go out and deal with dangerous mentally disturbed people, they can have it.

Get ****in real dude. You have no clue.

Re: NFL doesn’t like police

How is any of this Saints related? Doesn't this thread belong elsewhere for the social/ political junkies on Black & Gold forum?

I hear enough pontificating on a daily basis on other social media platforms. Can we be spared this tripe?
