this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; One more game left on Harris' suspension, if I'm counting right. Dang I wish he was back, we need him on the crossers and in the flats to make some plays for us....

Re: Saints vs Dolphins Pre-Game Discussion
The 49ers lost tonight falling to 8-7. With a win on Monday we are at worst in a tie for the #6 seed.

Four Quarterbacks. No Thomas or Lutz. Kamara missing multiple games. First round pick a no show. Backup guard all year. Second, third, and now 4th string Tackles starting multiple games. Onyemata being suspended. Harris being suspended. All in the age of Covid. Still with a realistic shot at the playoffs. Payton and Loomis did an amazing job this year regardless of the final outcome.

Could Book be a real surprise? Let’s go Brandon! |

Re: Saints vs Dolphins Pre-Game Discussion
It's all about reading and reacting for a QB. Book played multiple and big games in college. He has sat for basically a year in the NFL. I don't the game is too big for him. He doesn't have an elite arm. Payton will put him in good spots. But, he's going to have to do his part to win Monday night.

Re: Saints vs Dolphins Pre-Game Discussion
I can say that Hill missed several easy passes that Book may be able to make to continue drives. While we can't know what Book's future might be, Payton will put him in a position to win Monday via the game plan. Carmichael should be able to do the same with the playcalling if Sean can't be there in person.

Re: Saints vs Dolphins Pre-Game Discussion
I highly doubt we’re going to throw the ball much. It’s going to be a VERY conservative game plan.
Jameis was only averaging 25 pass attempts in his six full games with a far healthier team around him. Does anyone actually think we’re going to let Book sling it? |
