Mickey Loomis: Playing in a COVID outbreak wasn’t fair, but NFL told Saints we had to deal with it

“I don’t know what the reasoning is in New York. Those decisions aet made at the league level. But we were told pretty early on that the game wasn’t going to be postponed and just had to deal with it. That was their solution: Play the game no matter what,” Loomis said. “We don’t have to like it, but we have to live with it.”

That was the biggest bunch of BS. Now if the league was making other teams do the same and play through Covid outbreaks, that's one thing. But they had postponed other games because of the same issue. But refused to do so for the Saints.

That ain't right.

The three games postponed earlier in the year were ALL earlier in the week. A Saturday scheduled game was delayed until Monday and two Sunday games were put off until Tuesday. None were previously scheduled for a primetime slot. The Saints/Dolphins game was a whole different scenario. ESPN owned the rights to the game. If they wanted it played that night it was getting played that night regardless of what teams were involved.

So then the NFL rates prime time ahead of fair play?

You spent so many months trying to convince me and others otherwise and then you post the counter to your own bull**** argument. You're not very smart.

Wonder what else the NFL puts ahead of fair play? Maybe the NFL REALLY REAALY wanted LA in the big game, and maybe, just MAYBE, that's why an entire officiating crew blew a call high school refs don't miss. Sky cams and full time refs won't fix that... Funny that I'd use the word "fix" there huh little :censored:? Hmmmm...

Maybe somebody on the NFL radio network will put some words in your mouth on the subject and you can come back here and act as though you have inside info.

Anyone else notice "LET'S GO GUIDO" acts like he's the only person in the country that listens to SIRIUS XM?

How about how Guido is all over Hill for his vaccine stance but he gives Thomas a pass on how he mishandled his injury and missed the entire season?

I'm not a proponent of most of the volatile posts AG makes, but why can't you guys just ignore him if he makes you so mad?

It really doesn't make these forums more enjoyable for the rest of us who are not consumed by this juvenile playground level back and forth namecalling between you guys.

Ignoring all of you would eliminate majority of the regular posts, so I beg of you to be the bigger people in this.

I swear it sometimes feels like I'm reading the Failclowns' forum.

Don't worry, Fin, there is no back and forth. Any name-calling has to be coming from one direction. I have had saintfan, Boston, and vpheughan on ignore for a while now. mapcow was placed on ignore many, many months ago. Anything they are posting is all on them to no affect other than apparently irritating others.

:D

Remember your posting this?

I guess Ruiz is the new whipping boy now that Peat is on a long time IR and Daveport is performing like a 1st rounder.

How is the bashing of a player, coach or front office person is not an bigger exercise in juvenile behavior?

Reading a verbal tantrum, or tirade about something the poster has absolutely NO CONTROL over is more enjoyable to you?

How about juvenile playground level back and forth name calling...... Such as MR. GLASS, DS & THE MICKSTER ?

Man I typed a lot of stuff. Then I re-read your post and realized I could make it no more clear than you already have:

Ignoring all of you would eliminate majority of the regular posts

Because most of those who post here regularly have simply had enough of this idiot. The 'bigger people' are tired of this little kid who keeps running through the room while the adults are trying to have a conversation, even if we do blast each other from time to time. This little Guido kid does not understand how grown people do it. There is a nuance his child-like mind cannot grasp.

I just stick my foot out now and laugh my ass off when he trips as he's running through the room again, and again, and again...

I openly advocate for a timeout for the youngster. I want to share my thoughts without being repeatedly attacked for them. I am 110% sure on that we can all agree.

I begged him to ignore me. I promised him it would not get any better. He trolled me for it, because he's an *******.

Like so many others man, I've had enough...

And he called me a racist without basis. I'm trying to stay out of the name-calling business but it is a fact that this forum is better without him. This is my favorite site to visit and he's ruining it by angering many of the people here.

Many of us have asked him to behave like an adult but he continues to attack people.

Bull****. You've apologize to me and others via IM and in threads, and here you are doing it again. You do and say whatever you think gives you an advantage in the argument you're having in your own head. You make it personal. You're a sick little ****er.

Sorry, I don't completely understand what you are trying to say by quoting my post from another thread, but I do understand your frustration with someone who doesn't see things in the same way as you do and are adamant about it.

I'm not advocating for his side or for your side - I'm simply trying to help you all see that nothing positive can come from these seemingly endless malevolent posts.

I love the Saints and I love this site, and I appreciate the input all of you guys put forth, but amidst all of the craziness that is going on in the world - I wish we could be more civil towards each other without the need to point out who is to blame.

Anyway, Happy New Year to all of you WhoDats and my intention was not to stir the pot any further.

Actually, it looks like he had it right the first time. The racists aren't on the right. So his phrasing was correct. Racist or right wing, but hardly ever both.
