Mickey Loomis: Playing in a COVID outbreak wasn’t fair, but NFL told Saints we had to deal with it
“I don’t know what the reasoning is in New York. Those decisions aet made at the league level. But we were told pretty early on that the game wasn’t going to be postponed and just had to deal with it. That was their solution: Play the game no matter what,” Loomis said. “We don’t have to like it, but we have to live with it.”

That was the biggest bunch of BS. Now if the league was making other teams do the same and play through Covid outbreaks, that's one thing. But they had postponed other games because of the same issue. But refused to do so for the Saints.
That ain't right. |

Re: Mickey Loomis: Playing in a COVID outbreak wasn’t fair, but NFL told Saints we had to deal with it
The three games postponed earlier in the year were ALL earlier in the week. A Saturday scheduled game was delayed until Monday and two Sunday games were put off until Tuesday. None were previously scheduled for a primetime slot. The Saints/Dolphins game was a whole different scenario. ESPN owned the rights to the game. If they wanted it played that night it was getting played that night regardless of what teams were involved.

You spent so many months trying to convince me and others otherwise and then you post the counter to your own bull**** argument. You're not very smart. Wonder what else the NFL puts ahead of fair play? Maybe the NFL REALLY REAALY wanted LA in the big game, and maybe, just MAYBE, that's why an entire officiating crew blew a call high school refs don't miss. Sky cams and full time refs won't fix that... Funny that I'd use the word "fix" there huh little ? Hmmmm... Maybe somebody on the NFL radio network will put some words in your mouth on the subject and you can come back here and act as though you have inside info. |

I'm not a proponent of most of the volatile posts AG makes, but why can't you guys just ignore him if he makes you so mad?
It really doesn't make these forums more enjoyable for the rest of us who are not consumed by this juvenile playground level back and forth namecalling between you guys. Ignoring all of you would eliminate majority of the regular posts, so I beg of you to be the bigger people in this. I swear it sometimes feels like I'm reading the Failclowns' forum. |

Remember your posting this? I guess Ruiz is the new whipping boy now that Peat is on a long time IR and Daveport is performing like a 1st rounder. How is the bashing of a player, coach or front office person is not an bigger exercise in juvenile behavior? Reading a verbal tantrum, or tirade about something the poster has absolutely NO CONTROL over is more enjoyable to you? How about juvenile playground level back and forth name calling......
