"After rookie kicker Brian Johnson missed the last three point-after tries through the last two games, the New Orleans Saints brought back kicker Brett Maher, signing the former Dallas Cowboys specialist to the practice squad on Wednesday. As of Wednesday, Johnson remains with the team. Maher, for now, is wearing No. 19 — one of the only numbers the Saints have available for a backup specialist. He wore No. 6 — the number Johnson is currently wearing — during his brief stint in New Orleans earlier this year." It is nothing more than a coincidence that it was Dempsey's number. |

This was a topic of concern in the stands yesterday. I can't remember the last time I was at a game without the opening Who Dat chant.
