He was 5-2 with no wide receivers to speak of. If the Saints can get the o-line straight, I don't see why they couldn't do that well again.

And I think he appreciates the chance the Saints gave him.

Marvels of modern medicine.

Good to see Jameis's lateral motion building back up.

Thanks for posting this, I was just searching for an update on his progression and couldn't find anything.
Funny when I first heard Jameis was coming to the Saints I was saying "what the what".
Since he's been here I find myself really pulling for the guy.
I also remember Rez was super confidant about the trade from day one..

If only Thomas would have done something similar regarding his injury.

Re: Jameis Making Major "Strides" in Recovery

Kwon A. came back from his injury sooner than expected. Looks like Winston will too. Both, unfortunately, are free agents. I hope the Saints bring both back but I think other teams will be interested too and be able to offer more than we can. Meanwhile we have to wait on Thomas who hasn’t been successful so far in his rehab. Fingers crossed.

I’ll keep looking at Lindsay and/or Fournette as free agent RBs to look at. Having them with Winston and Thomas would be a good start.

I agree with you on all that but especially running back. We need a bell cow running back. Kamara is not built to run in between the tackles a whole bunch neither is CMC. It’s an element missing in this offense. Not saying to trade Kamara or anything like that but have Kamara as a neo change of pace back. I know this is unlikely cause of the money he’s making they want him on the field every waking moment but I think he is more dangerous not as the every down back.

I think a Fournette return to Louisiana would be a great thing for both sides.
