Have you heard Charlie Weiss's, Jim Miller, or Pat Kirwin's take on the Niners/Lambs game? They've pretty much discounted the Saints getting that NFC wildcard spot in favor of the Niners. Same at ESPN.

Personally, I'm not sold on an iffy, injury-riddled Jimmy G against a good Rams defense. Highland Park (Stafford) hasn't played either but still ... Sean McVay is going all out tomorrow.

We shall see if all of those prognosticators know what they're talking about.

Even Jeff Saturday has called a Saints loss to the Falcons. Figures ... he's still butt hurt from the Saints/Colts Super bowl .

Prognostication isn't a strength of those three. Breakdown and explanation of offensive or defensive schemes ... sure. Picking outcomes ... not so much. Agree about Garofalo. He's basically got the same ulnar injury that Brees had. I hope they try to play him. He looked okay throwing against air this week, but what's he going to look like with Aaron Donald in his face?
