Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Don't care what our record is, well, I do but if we're having a tanked season, there's two games I want the Saints to win, both of them vs the Falcons...

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Matt Ryan usually plays really well against us. We need to make sure Patterson doesn’t beat us out of the backfield and we hit Ryan early.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
No Calvin Ridley and possibly no Kyle Pitts. That is good news, although traditionally, it has been one of the number 2 or 3 wide receivers that have burned the Saints. Lookout for Gage, Jr.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Inside the d line trenches, the Falcons have Grady Jarrett and that’s basically it.
We must capitalize … early. |
Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
If (if) the D can play lights out and somehow, someway this O could get to scoring around 25 points a game, we could have a very good chance being a very scary team if we get a ticket to the dance. Look no further than Tampa winning it all with Dilfer, great D with a poor O. Just can't have turnovers, we're not geared to come from behind and win.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
More on Ramczyk from Nick Underhill.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Atl is going to be very up for this game! The thought of beating the Saints and keeping them from making the playoffs must have them salivating like Pavlov‘s dog. It’s going to be an old fashion, NFC South, Saints/Falcons slugfest! Anything could happen!

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
They flexed the game to 3:25. Last week I didn't get the game after they flexed it. I guess it's the same thing again this week. Dang.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Callaway is going to have to have a big day with some crazy downfield surprises, and of course our D has to be in attack mode. I'm feelin this one.

If Ram can play normally it will change the offense. I read that last week we started our 12th variant on offensive line.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Earlier in the year when Ram was healthy and a few of the others missed time, we plugged in guys like Throckmorton and didn't miss a beat. The minute Ram went out, the line pretty much turned into swiss cheese - especially vs the Dolphins.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
For some reason, I think the Falcons by 2 TD's.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
If the defense can pressure skid britches and hit him a few times, we win.
He has to be uncomfortable in the pocket. Pressure him and we get 2 picks and win by 10. |
Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Obviously it’s our defense and special teams that’s been able to put us in the position we are now with a chance to make the playoffs in the last week of the season. However I will note that, for the most part, the Saints offense, although yardage and point lacking, has at least not screwed up and made a lot of turnovers to make things worse. There have been three and outs, but there of been just enough drives with a battered o-line against defenses that have been keyed to stop Kamara to make wins happen. One under rated aspect has been the occasional deep ball to Callaway which have kept drives alive and got the team the few points they have. Maybe the passing game will be more open this week. It seems like there have been plays there to make. Hopefully Hill has the time and awareness to hit those plays.

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Also Taysom has had time to recover somewhat from injuries, his threat of running the ball should keep the Birds LB's guessing.
If we can use Kamara on more quick out passes instead of trying to drive the middle on 1st and 2nd downs. |
Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
A dirty bird can't fly with a broken wing! Break them down defense!

As much as we need Ramczyk, may be better if he rests one more week for the remaining tournament games (our tournament begins this week de facto)... Really believe with Ramczyk and Armstead back at the bookends that we will be the most dangerous team no one wants to face in the playoffs... |

Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Saints better bring their A game.
The Falcons WILL try their best to ruin any chance of post season play for us. Go all out, on every play. |
Re: Saints at Falcons Pre-Game Discussion
Davenport possibly being out is a huge loss.
