Knowing you, you're certainly alluding to race but many here didn't like his behavior off the field a few years ago, which was pretty awful. I feel that he's matured the last couple of years and it appears that he's a leader in the Saints locker room. Also, I can't judge a man when I've been guilty of poor behavior in my past. Good for him for striving to improve his life in every facet.

It's my opinion that he's the Saints best option at QB next season. I hope that the team doesn't try to bring in Aaron Rodgers or Russell Wilson and the QB's in this draft don't impress me.

Wasn't alluding to anything specifically. I'm sure his distant past is involved as you pointed out, however. I just know several fans, as Rez addressed, don't seem to see what we see. I see that take all the time in the Saints Twitter following. It's baffling.

The why don't you elaborate on your bull**** statement? What factors "other than leadership" WERE you referring to little :censored:?

You're the white guy walking in to a black panthers meeting offering to help. In the real world (not the interweb on your puter) you could get really ****ed up for faking that kind of ****, and rightfully so.

You sick little race-baiting ****er...

I myself wouldn't be throwing anyone in the garbage can.

Finally some true facts.

The QB missing the most significant players was Siemian. I'm open for using preseason for what it is intended and have QB competition again. I'm for giving
Jamesis another shot. He was looking good before the injury. Still had some indecision but was getting better. I'm sure coming off of injury he will sign a cap friendly contract. It is pretty much impossible to grade any QB's from 2021 season with the all the missing pieces for most of the season. Here's to a healthier 2022.

He wasn't getting pressured on every play like Hill and SIemian were. When we had a stable line, the offense still felt lackadaisical under Winston. When the line was a bit better towards the end of the season Hill just felt like he was more explosive in every aspect.

That's true. But still our WRs just weren't getting open with any consistency.

It felt, to me, like we were about to open things up a little bit when Jameis got hurt. I love Taysom. I would support him as the starter, but I think Jameis is already where Hill would aspire to be, meaning reads, game management, etc.

But even with the Indecision he had a very good touchdown and interception numbers, as well as team W-L record. Was he Brees?...No. Was he better than Hill?....I think so.

I definitely think it’s personal feelings more than an assessment of his play. Jameis Winston is by and large a better QB than everybody on our roster. If I had to give him a Madden rating I’d say he’s an 85. Taysom Hill is like a 72 only because he can run. Trevor is about a 72 as well. Book…65.
