New York Giants 2022 Salary Cap
The Giants certainly have the ability to open up enough cap to take on his contract ($35M - 2022) using base salary and roster bonus conversions, but he carries a $51 million cap hit in dead money to the Texans. It's less damaging to the Texans to leave him on the roster. Not to mention what Chris pointed out about his having the no trade clause. He'll have to okay any deal if offered up. |

This is such a real possibility. The Giants have two top 10 picks in the draft so they could trade one of them along with a 2023 1st and still have a top 10 pick this year. Makes too much sense.
