I'd like to see him eventually take over on kick-offs/special teams. Did a decent job in spot duty last year.

Lutz (abdomen) is expected to be ready for the 2022 season, Luke Johnson of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.
The longtime New Orleans kicker missed the entire 2021 campaign after undergoing core-muscle surgery in August and then suffering a setback in his recovery. While it's not certain how close Lutz is to returning to the field, he again seems on track to serve as the Saints' placekicker in 2022, especially after Brett Maher was let go last week.

I hope the medical team/trainers are 100% confident Will will be ready to go by September. Groin injuries/surgery can be tricky ... multiply times 2 for a kicker.

Was kinda hoping Brett stuck around a little longer as "insurance".
