If only he'd worked hard on answering the Coaching Staff's calls 2 years ago.

Re: Michael Thomas Progress
I’m fully pulling for Thomas to come back to the Saints 100%. I hope he is a better receiver than he was in his record setting year and he helps lead the team to a second Lombardi trophy.
I’m also a realist. He hasn’t played a game in well over a season. Since he got the big contract he reportedly ghosted his coach, FO, and training staff. He got into a fight with another teammate and got suspended. He didn’t have his HOF QBs back on social media. Now he’s still not healthy and more is known about Winston’s status (who makes himself ready for interviews and has several clear rehab videos) than his because all we’ve see are two videos that don’t even show his face and Allen saying he’s “rehabbing”. |

I want someone playing for the team who cares about more than just themselves. He turned into a Diva like his uncle Keyshawn. That's just selfish and I don't like it. I'm not a hater but I'm deeply disappointed in how much effort he put into avoiding the training staff, which was little to none! Yes, I still have a problem with paying him all that money to not be available because he solely chose not to answer the damn phone. :argue: |
Re: 2022 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
We are quietly building a Super bowl contender. I'm actually glad no one is giving us credit. It's a good motivating factor for the players and staff too I would imagine. No one will see us coming thanks to the lack of respect by the media.

When he was a rookie I was wowed by his determination and how hard he worked, but the success he had early on has really gone to his head. Cryptic Tweets, arguing with NFL players because they didn't include you in their fictitious scenarios, ignoring coaches calls whilst being paid an absolute ton. When Brees left, Thomas had an opportunity to be the "Cam Jordan" or "Demario" of the offense and lead by example, which he didn't do. I personally don't think he'll ever get back to how he was before, and therefore think we need to move on when it's financially viable for the team to do so. Allen seems to value the WR position, one can be found that values team first. |

Re: Michael Thomas Progress
The hate is great.
The man's a proven stud on my team and until we see him play this season I have no reason not to expect the best. I'm hearing more negativity here related to what is perceived as a diva attitude than what he can do. Got a question. What exactly, and I mean exactly, has Michael Thomas done that can be clearly labeled as a diva type act? Not saying anyone's lying, but I'm just having trouble identifying those clear diva moments. |
