Payton to take a year off?

I will say this though, I believe the idea of Payton retiring way more than him just jumping ship to go coach the Cowboys or Giants. Payton’s well aware of the officiating bias against him, hence quitting the competition committee.

I said in another thread that we will not be going to the Super Bowl again with Payton as coach… the NFL won’t allow it. Maybe Payton’s tired of fighting a losing battle.

Sean has earned and deserves a vacation. Like jp said it's click bait hoping this will make them get a couple of extra dollars from the sponsors who will pay for that crap.
