Just curious. What do you believe he would have coaching somewhere else that he doesn't already have in New Orleans? Really the same question for anyone else. I haven't seen any logical explanation from any pundit that has brought this subject up.

The point I was trying to make was more in response to prior comments about being in a contract, thus locked to the Saints. I would have to assume when he did his latest deal (contract) than an escape clause was included. I admittingly do not know if this is even possible to write in a coaches contract, but if it is, I would have to believe something was included in the language to make a move possible. It wouldn't really mean that he wants to leave the Saints, it's just keep options open for the just in case scenarios that could unexpectedly come up.

Of course if SP does take the year off, that means he is not likely to return to the Saints. Yes, he is making 15 million per year and would leave 45 million on the table. We all know he has it good and can likely coach the team as long as he wants.

Now speculating on reasons why SP would leave, well there are a ton of could be reasons. Burn out could be an issue, maybe he wants to spend a year with his family and return to a new challenge, maybe even issues with the Saints that we are unaware of, who knows...

Just curious map...how do you define suck mode? Is it every team the doesn’t win the SB? Is it not making the playoffs? Is it having a losing season.

suck mode... lose when they should win. saw it back in the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's.... you know. suck mode. Also, when a team has a "Cybil" personification like that Guido creep, spewing at the mouth, all the time
