Reason for hope

So, combining the idea of looking for a new coach and weighing how attractive the Saints job is I will offer a thought. Apart from being a franchise that has earned respect via wins over the last 16 years and having our cap master GM in place there is an attractive aspect to being the next head coach of the Saints. That is, especially after Brady retires, there is not a single other team in our division that can say they are in better shape than us. Atlanta stuck with Ryan...Carolina? Tampa with Arians and no Brady? My point is it’s not like there is a KC or a Buffalo type team that’s poised to be good for the foreseeable future.

They discussed this on ESPN this morning. Keyshon said don't sleep on the Saints. Mentioned the defense and the fact that you still have Kamara and possibly Can't Guard Mike to rely on.

Point well taken, actually for the NFC South I would agree the playing field will be fairly level. For the Saints keeping as much of the Defense together will be paramount. For the Offense of course Kamara and Thomas will be key players to hold on to if possible. With Sean's departure could lead to some players heading out the door. Funny thing though just a few days ago we were all caught up in the QB problem, now it seems like the lid has blown off the Dome..

Well said RailBoss. We might be in the process of a rebuild and reidentification for the next year or two.

Kay Sera Sera.....as the beautiful Doris Day use to sing. Whatever will be will be. I for one am looking towards the future of uncertainty, however it plays out.
